Teresa Escobar is the Site Director at Manhattan Behavioral Medicine. She is a Registered Nurse (R.N.) candidate at BMCC CUNY. She has a decade long research career at the prestigious New York State Psychiatric Institute/Columbia University Medical Center/New York Presbyterian Hospital. She has co-authoring research journal articles on brain histology based on her work at Columbia. She is also a decorated professional athlete and marathon runner and is bilingual in both written and spoken English and Spanish. Teresa oversees laboratory and clinical operations for Dr. Joseph’s studies as Manhattan Behavioral Medicine’s Site Director. She is highly skilled in psychometric rating scales in both English and Spanish.
