Dr. Judith Joseph, MD, MBA, Principal Investigator at Manhattan Behavioral Medicine, is a pediatric and adult psychiatrist. Dr. Joseph has served as an investigator for over 60 clinical research trials for major pharmaceutical companies and clinical research organizations, including Eli Lilly, Otsuka, Lundbeck, Alkermes, Merck, and Sunovion Allergan, Forest, Pfizer, Axovant, Avanir, Takeda, Intracellular, Acadia, Janssen, Sage, Grunenthal, Shire & Supernus. Dr. Joseph is also a Bracket Certified Central Rater. Dr. Joseph’s dedication to patient care comes first and foremost. Dr. Joseph founded Manhattan Behavioral Medicine in order to provide her patients with more treatment options to complex behavioral disorders. Dr. Joseph received her bachelor’s degree in biology and chemistry, cum laude, from Duke University, her medical degree from Columbia University and her business degree from Columbia Business School. Dr. Joseph was an anesthesiology resident at Columbia University NYPH completing her psychiatry residency at Columbia University NYPH so unlike most psychiatrists, Dr. Joseph is skilled in many procedures such as performing Intravenous lines, lumbar punctures, botox injections, intubations, intramuscular injections, pain procedures and complex phlebotomy procedures.

They have a combined total of over 30 years of research experience. They are all responsible for regulatory, research and clinical related issues. Teresa and Trisha, Dr. Joseph’s Lead CRCs have implemented “No query Fridays” an industry term first coined by Dr. Joseph’s research team at MBM, during which sponsors are reassured that all queries are closed out before each weekend. Teresa Escobar is the Site Director at Manhattan Behavioral Medicine. She has a decade long research career at the prestigious New York State Psychiatric Institute/Columbia University Medical Center/New York Presbyterian Hospital. She is co-authoring a book to be published on brain histology based on her work at Columbia. She is also a decorated professional athlete and is bilingual in both English and Spanish. Teresa oversees laboratory and clinical operations for Dr. Joseph’s studies as Manhattan Behavioral Medicine’s Site Director
Trisha Srigiriraju is a skilled behavioral scientist with an extensive clinical and research background in both behavioral and research psychology. She has a Masters degree in psychology and is pursuing her Doctorate degree. She is a classically trained dancer and is fluent in both English and Hindi. Trisha is a patient recruitment specialist and manages patient relations for Dr. Joseph’s studies.
Anton Storozhenko studied accounting and economics at Hunter college. He manages MBM’s CTMS and assists with laboratory operations at Manhattan Behavioral Medicine. He is HIPAA certified and has various health care certifications, including IATA & GCP. His interests include cycling, data analysis and film. Anton is bilingual and speaks both English and Russian fluently.
Kaitlyn Schultz graduated with a Bachelors in Arts in Dance and Psychology from Marymount Manhattan College. She aspires to become a dance therapist. She is HIPAA certified and has various health care certifications, including IATA, GCP, CSSRS training and training in several pediatric and dementia assessments. In her spare time, Kaitlyn enjoys dancing and has traveled with professional dance troupes. Kaitlyn is a recruitment specialist and clinical research coordinator as well as a CTMS analyst at MBM.
Emily Shapiro graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s degree in psychology from NYU. She aspires to become a clinical psychologist. She is HIPAA certified and has various health care certifications, including IATA, GCP, CSSRS training and training in several pediatric and dementia assessments. In her spare time, Emily enjoys International travel. Emily is a recruitment specialist and a clinical research coordinator as well as a CTMS analyst at MBM.
Devon Carpenter has a Bachelor in Biology from Indiana State University and a Master’s in Psychology from NYU. He has extensive research experience at NYU in a prestigious neuroscience lab where he administered neurocognitive batteries. Devon is a clinical research coordinator and clinical rater at Manhattan Behavioral Medicine. Devon also recruits and pre-screens patients. He is HIPAA certified and has various health care certifications, including IATA & GCP. His interests include international traveling, playing basketball and decreasing mental health stigma via social media outlets. He is interested in pursuing a PhD in clinical psychology.
Joshua Netto-Rosen has a Bachelor in Exercise Physiology from University of Miami and a Master’s in Bioethics from NYU. He has extensive experience in neuroscience research. Joshua is a clinical research coordinator at Manhattan Behavioral Medicine. Joshua is HIPAA certified and has various health care certifications, including First Aid, CPR, IATA & GCP. His interests include swimming, basketball and international travel. He is fluent in English, Portuguese and Spanish.
Tauqir Huk, MD, graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor Degree in English and a minor in Biology. She graduated Magna Cum Laude & Phi Delta Epsilon from American University of Antigua College of Medicine with a Medical Degree. She is HIPAA certified and has various health care certifications, including IATA, GCP, CSSRS training as well as training in several pediatric, adult and dementia assessments. In her spare time, Tauqir enjoys International travel and exercising. Tauqir is fluent in both English and Urdu.
